A coastal series of naked male self-portraits rooted in landscape and natural light.
This series of contemplative and playful photographs explores my connection with coastlines and water. I return to beaches, cliffs, tide pools, sand, riverbanks, and rock as places where I can slow down, step away from expectation, and feel more present within the natural world. From the Oregon Coast to Rooster Rock and Sauvie Island, and farther south and west to California and Hawaii, these places become both landscape and refuge.
Some photographs are quiet and reflective; others are lighthearted and full of movement. Together, they follow my ongoing exploration of the human form within sea, sky, stone, and open space. Whether beside the Pacific, along the Columbia River, or on a warm island shoreline, these landscapes give me room to be honest, curious, and grateful, and to photograph myself as part of creation rather than separate from it.
